I’ve been trying to perfect my craft room for over a year now. At first it was “pretty” but it was also so overly organized I started to become uninspired. It occurred to me that it’s hard for me to be inspired by what I can’t SEE! So alas, I finally found a way to make my craft space pretty, organized and functional. Rather than storing all my supplies in neat little boxes, I decided to take the ribbon, markers and all my paints out of hiding! Here is a glimpse into how turn my space into a functional, organized and inspiring work space!
My desk ( which is actually a DIY hack made from 2 Kallax shelves and plywood) is my favorite part of my craft room as it not only gives me the space I need to craft but also has tons of storage! The beauty of it is you can customize it to fit your storage needs.
I even added these Kallax inserts which adds extra storage!
This handy, compartmentalized desktop carousel from Michaels is perfect for keeping all my markers, scissors, cricut accessories organized and easily accessible.
I’m in love with this White Cart by Recollections. It’s perfect storage for my paint supplies and ribbon and the wheels on this cart make it convenient to easily move it around. Of course I had to add a little personal touch by adding a quote to keep me motivated!
Ikea shelves to the rescue again! I used my Minc foil machine to create the framed quote & customized the bins that store all my paper, vinyl, ribbon & HTV scraps while using the surface to hold my heating tools:
