Back to School w/ the Cricut Maker

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.

IT’S BACK TO SCHOOL TIME! Which for thousands of parents around the country means we get to reclaim our TIME, the grocery bill returns back to its normal level, the need to spike your coffee will slowly diminish.  You can finally have your morning OJ without the need to turn it into a mimosa. Most importantly you get to craft in PEACE! 6-8 hours of listening bickering kids watching YouTube videos of kids doing nothing will be replaced with the blissful sounds of the humming of your sewing machine and buzzing of your Cricut.

Before we get to indulge in the crafting lap of luxury, we have to send our kids back to school in style!  It was a very proud mommy moment for me when my kids requested a custom designed book bags and thanks to the Cricut Maker, I was able to produce something that represents each child’s personality.  (The Superhero obsessed 2nd grader, the unicorn loving 4th grader and the “girly girl” resistant middle schooler who takes pride in being socially woke! But I wanted to add momma’s modern flare and this meant playing with PATTERNS!

Each of these patterns were taken right out of Cricut Design Space! (Here is my time to make a confession…..I typically avoid cutting intricate designs so this project allowed me to push me out of my comfort zone and I’m so glad I did! The Cricut Maker made each intricate cut with speed and precession! Check out the project details below and leave a comment if you have any comments or questions!
